• Kyoto–Nara about 1 hour each way, enough for half a day in Nara Park
• Kyoto–Osaka about 1 hour, often used for a hotel change with all the luggage aboard

What's included

The ¥100,000 starting rate covers the vehicle, a professional local driver, and fuel for the agreed route, for up to 9 hours in the Kyoto area. Tolls, parking (often paid and in short supply in Kyoto), and admission tickets are charged separately and itemised in your quote.

Luggage

Luggage capacity depends on how many seats are in use: with all 13 aboard, what remains suits cabin bags and backpacks. If the full group is carrying large suitcases — a hotel-change day or a departure day — tell us early and we will suggest the micro bus, which has a luggage hold of its own.

Before you book

• Time beyond the 9 hours is billed per extra hour; Japanese rules cap a driver's working hours
• Some Kyoto temples and sightseeing districts restrict larger vehicles at certain times — the driver will arrange the nearest drop-off point
• Send the final passenger and suitcase count before the day so the seating is set up correctly
• Cherry-blossom and autumn-foliage weekends are Kyoto's busiest — book well ahead
