Q: Can I study in Japan if I don’t speak Japanese yet?
To enter a language school in Japan, you need 150 hours of study or JLPT N5.
You can take our course in Indonesia to get the required certificate.
For universities, you need JLPT N2 or N1, which you can study at the language school in Japan.
Q: Can I get a scholarship to study in Japan?
Yes! We help students apply for the MEXT scholarship. After arriving in Japan, there are more opportunities like JASSO and school-based scholarships.
Q: What is the MEXT Scholarship?
The MEXT Scholarship is a full scholarship from the Japanese government. It covers 100% of tuition fees, monthly allowance, and round-trip airfare.
It is available for undergraduate, master's, and specialized training programs. Selection is based on documents, written exams, and interviews.
MEXT offers several types:
Undergraduate (Gakubu) – for bachelor's degree
College of Technology (Kosen)
Specialized Training College (Senshu)
And others like research, teacher training, etc.
Note: We only support applications for Gakubu, Kosen, and Senshu programs.
Q: Can I work part-time while studying in Japan?
Yes. International students with a student visa are allowed to work up to 28 hours per week. Average income is around ¥60,000/month.

Language School: Prepares you to learn Japanese (usually 1–2 years).
Vocational School (Senmon Gakko): Job-focused training with diploma.
University (Daigaku): Academic degree (Bachelor’s, Master’s, PhD).
Q: Can I join a study trip if I don’t plan to study in Japan yet?
Yes! Our study trips are open to anyone interested in Japanese culture, education, and future opportunities.
Q: What are the requirements to work in Japan?
To work under the Gijinkoku Visa (Engineer/Humanities/International Services), you must have a bachelor's degreeand Japanese level JLPT N3 or higher.
You can study for JLPT N3 at Nakamura Study Japan, and we will assist you with job matching to Japanese companies.
