Large Bus (Coach) Rental in Japan

For very large groups, the touring coach offers up to 45 seats with a generous luggage compartment and professional-tour comfort. The right choice for study tours and full-day journeys.
Ideal for
- Very large groups of up to 45 with their luggage — one bus for a whole year group
- Study tours and school trips, accompanying teachers included
- Full-day, multi-stop touring with plenty of drop-off points
- Group airport pick-ups where everyone arrives on the same flight
Common routes & durations
This class makes the most sense for a full-day tour, because the cost per person is at its lowest once the seats are filled:
- Tokyo–Mount Fuji–Hakone in a day, roughly 2 hours each way plus time on the ground
- Osaka–Kyoto–Nara, about an hour of driving between each
- Group airport transfers: Narita or Kansai to the hotel in a single run for the whole party
- A day of campus and language-school visits, with the coach waiting at each stop
What's included
The ¥235,000 starting rate covers the coach, a professional local driver, and fuel for the agreed route. Expressway tolls, coach parking (priced differently from car parking), and admission tickets are charged separately according to the route and itemised in your quote. On trips of more than one day the driver's accommodation is costed in as well — we tell you that figure upfront.
Luggage
The large underfloor compartment takes suitcases for all 45 passengers, so nothing ends up blocking the aisle. That is the real difference from the micro bus: seating and luggage capacity are both available in full at the same time.
Before you book
- Japanese rules cap coach drivers' working hours strictly; on long or multi-day itineraries the driver's rest has to be built into the schedule from the start
- Narrow streets, temple precincts, and residential areas are off-limits to a full-size coach — the driver will pick the nearest drop-off and the rest is on foot
- Send the full itinerary with departure times so the quote carries the right tolls and parking
- Study-tour season (March–April and September–October) is the busiest — lock in your dates as early as you can
