Beginning of the Journey
Nakamura Education Centre was established in Medan as a non-formal educational institution providing Japanese language courses and mentoring for Indonesian students to study and continue their education in Japan, including Japanese language schools and further education pathways, as well as study trip programs to Japan.
2018
Formal Education
The ecosystem expanded with the presence of Nakamura School, a formal educational institution providing tiered education with a focus on the Japanese curriculum.
2024
Nakamura Education Centre Rebranding to Nakamura Study Japan
Drawing from years of experience mentoring Indonesian students, Nakamura Study Japan was officially formed as a special program focusing on study, work, and career development in Japan.

Impact & Achievements
To date, Nakamura Study Japan has supported over 100 Indonesians to study, work, and live in Japan, and helped more than 1,000 learners improve their Japanese language skills through courses and JLPT preparation.
