Shizuoka International Language School
Founded in October 1989 in Fukuroi, between Shizuoka and Hamamatsu, the school has more than 30 years of experience teaching Japanese. Morning and afternoon sessions run on a two-shift system, and students come from a mix of Asian countries — a small, quiet town rather than a big city.
The 2-year program (1,600 hours) targets JLPT N3 and above, with extra guidance toward N2 for students planning to continue to university. The school accepts applicants from N5 level, with April and October intakes and dormitory support for students from out of town.

SILS's campus is in Moroi, Fukuroi — a small city between Shizuoka and Hamamatsu. It's a quiet setting for focused study, with a lower cost of living than the big cities.

ARC Academy Japanese Language School
ARC Academy was founded in 1986 to teach business Japanese to foreign professionals, and today welcomes students from more than 50 countries across three campuses: Tokyo (Shibuya and Shinjuku) and Kyoto.
