International College of Liberal Arts (iCLA)
iCLA is an American-style liberal arts college at Yamanashi Gakuin University in Kofu, opened in April 2015 with nearly all classes taught in English. More than 80% of its students are international, drawn from over 55 nationalities.
The four-year bachelor's program spans fourteen fields of study — Global Business and Economics, Political Science, International Relations, Sociology, Psychology, Japanese Studies, Environmental Studies, Media and Communication, Mathematics, Data Science, Philosophy, History, Literature, and Art and Design. New students are admitted twice a year, in April and September.

iCLA's campus is in the Sakaori district of Kofu — a city in Yamanashi Prefecture known for its Mt. Fuji views, fruit orchards, and hot springs, about 90 minutes from central Tokyo by train.
